LOW POWERED FM TRANSMITTER PROJECT

Dane Smith, Alix Gutierrez, and April Kim (the DJ’s behind the show flashback) set up a station outside of OTIS to broadcast live mixed personalized songs to anyone who came by and participated. We would ask participants a series of questions and based on their answers, tailored a unique song for them. We were outside for an hour from around 4:15 to 5:30 on May 9th and pulled students and faculty who were passing by to help us make some music! The radio class also helped out a lot by coming down to talk with us as well. 

Both the finished songs as well as the questions and answers spoken through mic were broadcast to the radio in the OTIS cafe as a way of pulling more people and sharing the music mixes with everyone.
